The Face Place Institute of Aesthetics

The Face Place Institute of Aesthetics is a beauty academy formed as an addition to the Face Place Salon. It was established in 1989 by Elima Hall who is a professional beauty therapist. Our aim is to offer quality beauty education to school leavers and experienced professionals in the industry who are looking to upskill. 

We have internationally accredited and short courses to choose from. Our accredited programs include body therapy, manual facial, facial certificate, beauty and spa management diploma, postgraduate manual facial certificate, postgraduate body therapy and postgraduate facial certificate. 

For our short courses, we have lash extensions, threading, waxing, nail technology, professional makeup, Swedish massage and spa therapy, skincare and aesthetics and clinical skincare. Each course is designed to provide the finest training, so you become a highly skilled professional.

We are proud to be the first beauty school in Jamaica that’s CIDESCO approved and recognised. This means we offer qualifications with international recognition that lets you explore more jobs overseas.
